Preet Kaur Gill MP has today launched a petition calling on Birmingham City Council to introduce a one way system along Nursery Road in Harborne to ease congestion, stop cars from mounting the pavement and make the road safer for the community.

Preet has written to the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak MP, in response to his Winter Economy Plan and on behalf of thousands of constituents whose jobs are at risk as the furlough cliff-edge fast approaches.

Preet has joined Jack Dromey MP in writing to the University of Birmingham's Vice-Chancellor after it emerged that 19 members of staff may lose their jobs at the University-owned Edgbaston Park Hotel.
