Last week, Preet Kaur Gill MP spoke to BBC Midlands Today about the Home Office's decision to deny three visa applications to a constituent's Palestinian mother-in-law who was due to come over to provide care for his critically-ill daughter.

Despite providing sufficient evidence addressing the initial refusal reasons given by the Home Office, the visa application for Mr Tallouzi's mother-in-law was denied two more times.

On Midlands Today, Preet said, "I hope that the Government will take note of just how difficult the process really is, and how people actually feel that the system works against them rather than with them."

Since Preet's involvement with the case, the Home Office have said that they are 'reconsidering' the visa application for Mr Tallouzi's mother-in-law.
