88% of schools across the country are seing a real-terms budget cut. For the average secondary school this is a loss of £178,321 per year. For the average primary school this is a loss of £52,546 per year. This will mean, amongst other things:

 - increased class sizes,

 - loss of school staff, and

 - cuts to extra-curricular activities and resources

 - You can find out how much your local school is set to lose by going to https://schoolcuts.org.uk and putting in your postcode.

The school I went to - Lordswood Girls in Harborne - will lose £344,000 which is equivalent to 7 teachers

I will be doing all I can to persuade the Government that these cuts must be reversed if we are to provide a good education for all our children.
